Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas and provide direction to custodial staff. The role runs Monday through Friday from 11am to 7:30pm with an hourly pay of $17.00–$18.00.

Responsibilities include scheduling and training, operating cleaning equipment, maintaining supplies, and ensuring safety and quality inspections. A high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience are required; CPR/First Aid and forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED required.
• At least 1 year related custodial experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification. May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies.
• Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.
