Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian Lead in Newark, DE to oversee cleaning operations and assist in directing custodial staff. The role includes performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring safety practices are followed.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related custodial experience and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. A valid driver’s license may be required for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as assigned.
• Follow daily schedule and provide work direction to custodial staff as needed.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor with scheduling and training.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and monitor equipment inventory.
• Maintain supply inventory and report safety incidents to supervisor.
• Monitor PPE use and ensure safe handling of chemicals.
