Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Custodial Lead to direct the custodial team in keeping church and school facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. The role requires leading by example, coordinating daily tasks, and communicating needs to facilities leadership.

The incumbent will participate in custodial work, train new staff, and ensure safety standards are followed across classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and train others.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate custodial equipment and handle cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and leadership to custodial team members.
• Coordinate daily duties and balance workloads.
• Regularly inspect areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Communicate facility needs to leadership and vendors.
• Assist with setup for events and deep-cleaning projects.
• Maintain safety and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
