Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and provide direction to custodial staff. This role ensures daily operations align with safety standards.

You will perform janitorial duties, supervise custodians per the Custodial Supervisor, and assist in scheduling and training. The position runs Monday through Friday, 2pm–10:30pm, at $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education and/ or Experience: HS diploma or GED; 1 year related experience.
• Certifications: CPR/AED/First Aid; forklift and driver licenses may be required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, PPE usage and equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and use motorized cleaning equipment.
• Provide work direction to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and supply inventory.
• Report incidents, hazards and employee issues to supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/AED/First Aid certification. May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team

Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment

Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
