Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead in Arlington, TX to oversee cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas and provide guidance to custodial staff.

The role requires operating motorized cleaning equipment, managing supplies, and supporting the Custodial Supervisor with scheduling, training, and inspections. A valid driver’s license and safety certifications are preferred; forklift certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; at least 1 year related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification; valid driver's license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required depending on business needs.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and chemicals and safe usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and follow the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory; assist in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor PPE use and supplies; correct at-risk behavior.
• Possibly drive to various work locations or customer sites.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas needing improvement.

Education and/ or Experience:

High school diploma / GED required. At least 1-year related experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

CPR/AED/First Aid certification . A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team

Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment

Monday-Friday:6:00PM-2:30AM

$18.00-$19.00 per hour.
