Job Title: Engineering Services Manager

Job Summary:

This position is located at the Milliken Cushman site in Williamston, SC, and reports to the Plant Manager. This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting all processes related to the maintenance of the plant’s physical structure, equipment, and the production and environmental systems.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead production engineering maintenance department
2. Ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner and maintenance support is available as needed
3. Establish work schedules, shift assignments and work prioritization
4. Track equipment failures, problems, spare parts, maintenance logs to assist in increasing equipment uptime and reliability
5. Ensure documentation of maintenance work and activities performed, including work orders, engineering change requests, drawings, CAD files, procedures, project logs, etc.
6. Participate in value engineering projects to increase production efficiency and capacity, reduce cost, improve quality, and improve equipment reliability and uptime
7. Spearhead and support value engineering projects to increase production efficiency and capacity, reduce cost, improve quality and improve equipment reliability and uptime
8. Evaluate, recommend, and implement process, machine, and design improvements to production equipment and procedures
9. Oversee the maintenance of the building and mechanical systems for site
10. Responsible for training and supervising the maintenance department
11. Coordinates work performed by outside vendors
12. Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
13. Control departmental budget
14. Must follow safety standard work.

7. Ability to generate, interpret, and explain with clarity complex mechanical design drawings and documentation

Qualifications Required:

1. BS degree (Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering)
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
3. Strong problem-solving capability
4. AutoCAD or similar software experience
5. Ability to communicate and interact at all levels.
