Job summary

Tulsa Technology Center seeks an adjunct instructor to support the ACD program. You will collaborate with adjunct instructors and staff, ensure deadlines are met, and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

Required experience in teaching or training, strong writing and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Blackboard experience is preferred, with a bachelor’s in English or Education being preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or training others and knowledge of educational practices.
  • Strong technical writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn new software and district systems to review data, enter data, and pull reports.
  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to create written documentation for curriculum.
  • Experience using Blackboard LMS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with adjunct instructors and other staff.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and consistently meet deadlines as assigned.
  • Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to Tulsa Tech's ACD program goals.
  • Perform tasks and duties assigned by supervision and determined by management to be appropriate for this position.
