Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Deputy Curriculum Development Program Manager in Washington, D.C. This role involves managing curriculum development and maintenance for a large training support contract. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in curriculum development, along with strong leadership and project management skills.

The successful candidate will oversee instructional design initiatives, ensure high-quality deliverables, and act as Program Manager in their absence, with travel required nationwide. A Bachelor’s degree or extensive relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in training or curriculum development.
• Demonstrated experience in course design for large-scale training programs.
• In lieu of a degree, 15 years of relevant experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in overseeing all curriculum development activities.
• Supervise contract personnel involved in instructional design.
• Ensure curriculum products meet training standards and client needs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts for course development.
• Monitor timelines and deliverables for successful project execution.
• Act as Program Manager when required.
• Participate in client meetings and reviews as needed.
