Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Curriculum Coordinator to join our management team. The role supports teachers, reviews lesson plans, and ensures smooth classroom operations.

You will train new teachers, mentor staff, and fill in in classrooms as needed, with working hours Monday through Friday between 6am and 6pm. An AA degree or progress toward a BA in Early Childhood Education is required for this position.

Qualifications

• AA degree minimum or progress toward BA in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet teacher requirements as outlined by State's Department of Licensing.
• Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule Mon-Fri 6am–6pm.
• Positive work ethic and team-centered attitude.
• Reliable and passionate about working with children.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Curriculum Coordinator to join our management team at our NEW Huntersville, NCschool.

Annual Salary: $58,000

As a Curriculum Coordinator you will be:

• Assisting in training new teachers in the classroom.
• Serving as a mentor to new or existing teachers.
• Reviewing lesson plans.
• Replacing a staffmember in the classroom as needed.

All Applicants MUST:

• Have a minimum of an AA degree or working towards a BA degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Must meet teacher requirements as outlined by the State’s Department of Licensing.
• Be able to work a flexible, full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6am-6pm.
• Have positive work ethic, and a team-centered attitude.
• Be reliable and have positive work ethic.
• Have a passion for working with children!

*Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.
