Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Mankato, MN is seeking a Curriculum Coordinator to support lesson plan development, coordinate classroom coverage, and mentor teachers. The role emphasizes organized leadership in a fast-paced educational setting.

Description

As a Curriculum Coordinator at our Mankato location, you will be:

• Assist in creating and reviewing lesson plans.
• Replacing a staffmember in the classroom as needed.
• Assisting in training new teachers in the classroom.
• Serving as a mentor to new or existing teachers.

Potential candidates must be organized, detail-orientated, self-motivated, reliable, and able to lead in a fast-paced, highly professional environment. Potential candidates must have:

• Associate degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 2 years' experience in a licensed Early Childhood setting.
• Have working knowledge of state specific licensing requirements, National Accreditation guidelines, and early childhood development teaching and assessment strategies.
