Job summary

BASIS Baton Rouge Mid City Campus is seeking a Curriculum Coordinator to join our bright, passionate team. The role supports faculty and staff by handling student schedules, substitute management, and assessment administration to meet the campus missions.

You will coordinate curriculum and assessments, ensure smooth operation of external exam administration, and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced learning environment with a strong focus on student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years teaching/administrative experience.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain student schedules.
• Manage records of teacher substitutions and activities (e.g. field trips, term projects).
• Coordinate BASIS Ed curriculum and assessment processes.

The Curriculum Coordinator provides support services to the school's faculty and staff in order to meet the mission of BASIS Ed Schools. In this role, the Curriculum Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting with all systems related to student schedules, teacher substitutes and assessment administration.

Primary Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Creating and maintaining student schedules
• Managing records of teacher substitutions and teacher activities (e.g. field trips, term projects)
• Coordinating BASIS Ed curriculum and assessment processes
• Coordinating assessment administration of external exams

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3 years teaching or administrative experience
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with children.
• Skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency is a MUST.
