Job summary

Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Count Room Attendant I to join our team. You will open, count and secure currency from EGS machines and table games, ensuring accuracy and compliance with gaming laws and company policies.

You will maintain reports, monitor discrepancies, and uphold security and confidentiality while supporting a professional, fast-paced team environment. Strong math and attention to detail are essential, as is punctuality and courtesy toward guests

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year money handling experience preferred.
• Superior attention to detail and strong math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Open, remove and secure currency from EGS machines and table games.
• Adhere to all Drop/Count policies and procedures.
• Conduct monthly drop of kiosks and ensure integrity of transactions.
• Accurately count slot machine currency drops and tickets.
• Operate currency counter/sorter and ticket counter equipment.
• Record currency from bill acceptors and game boxes in the system.
• Prepare and bundle currency drops for verification.
• Create reports on count activity and enter into accounting system.
• Inform supervisors of discrepancies or variances.
• Maintain a clean and secure work area; ensure safety of guests and team.
• Punctual attendance and professional conduct per company standards.
