Job summary

Hiebing, based in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a curious Web Developer to build and maintain WordPress sites, plugins and integrations. The role centers on WordPress but branches into analytics tagging, email HTML, and broader digital projects for client work.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of professional web development experience with WordPress theme development, solid HTML/CSS/JS, PHP, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional web development experience with WordPress theme development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain WordPress websites, including block editor development, theme customization, plugin configuration and integrations.
• Troubleshoot website issues including plugin conflicts, integrations, browser/device inconsistencies and performance problems.
• Support website maintenance, landing pages, content migrations and other digital enhancements across client properties.
• Assist with analytics and tagging implementations using GA4 and GTM, including QA.
• Support email development and production needs, including HTML emails and rendering issues.
