Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Digital Clerk to turn online orders into easy, reliable curbside pickups. You’ll help drive loyalty and satisfaction by fulfilling orders quickly, accurately, and with a friendly, courteous attitude.

No day is the same: you’ll greet customers, scan items, bag, keep the curbside area neat, and collaborate with store leadership to resolve questions. Training provided; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Turn online orders into easy, reliable curbside pickups.
• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area with accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers courteously in person and on the phone and respond to needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and team members; resolve concerns with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Scan/verify items, bag items, and follow bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food-safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
