Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to help convert online orders into reliable curbside pickups. You will greet customers, fulfill orders, collect payments, and maintain a smooth carside experience with friendly service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of retail experience, strong communication, and a detail-oriented mindset. This role supports the curbside program and requires physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, twisting, standing) for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside service and fulfillment for online orders.
• Fulfill orders accurately and collect payments at the carside pickup area.
• Greet customers courteously in person and by phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and store leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by coordinating with leadership as needed.
• Receive daily workflow from a dashboard and fulfill orders during shifts.
• Select items, scan/verify, and bag per bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
