Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk in Indiana to turn online orders into easy, reliable curbside pickups. You’ll help drive customer loyalty by accurate order fulfillment and a friendly curbside experience.

No prior knowledge required; training provided. Requirements include a high school diploma, strong communication, ability to lift and stand, and at least one year of experience, preferably in retail or cashier roles. The role emphasizes efficiency, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
