Job summary

Giant Eagle is seeking a Personal Shopper to join the Curbside Team, delivering exceptional, one-to-one service to guests. You will select, bag and stage grocery orders for pickup, using technology to assist online shoppers and communicate with guests by phone or in person.

Maintain safety as a top priority while collaborating with Team Members and vendors. This role emphasizes a passion for shopping for others, fast service, and going the extra mile to brighten guests' day.

Qualifications

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months.
• Experience Desired: Working towards a high school diploma; Retail or grocery experience.
• Education Desired: No High School diploma required

Responsibilities

• Display a passion about shopping for others (shop as though you are shopping for someone you love) and understand the store and vast array of product offerings.
• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of our work, for our Team Members, guests, and products.
• Accurately select, bag and stage grocery orders for guests.
• Provide unparalleled guest service, constantly striving to delight and surprise our guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Assist with the collection, loading and acceptance of payment for customer pick-up and delivery orders.
• Provide assistance with online grocery customers via the phone and in-person.
• Inspire your fellow Team Members and our guests with a willingness to go the 'Extra Mile' to provide the best service
• Demonstrate proficiency and efficient use of technology, including the Internet
• Accurately select, bag and stage grocery orders for guests.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency while performing job tasks
• Proficient use of mobile phone apps and texting
