Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to convert online orders into easy, reliable curbside pickups. You’ll work at the Meijer curbside pickup area, ensuring fast, accurate order fulfillment and friendly customer interactions.

This role emphasizes teamwork, learning new technologies, and following procedures. A high school diploma and a propensity for service excellence help you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude and respond to questions in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
