Job summary

The NC FAST P4 Curam Developer will lead functional and detailed requirement development and code development for the NC Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) project. You will work on Curam-related tasks, collaborate with senior consultants, and ensure lifecycle management of deliverables.

This on-site role requires strong Oracle database knowledge, RAM Enterprise Framework, and proficiency in Java, XML, XSL, and Web Services.

Qualifications

• RAM V6 Certified Developer.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a RAM Developer covering full lifecycle from requirements to testing.
• Proficiency with RAM Enterprise Framework Components, Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG2), and Express Rules for Triage (CERT).
• Experience with Oracle database and Subversion version control.
• Technical expertise in Java (J2SE, J2EE), XML, XSL, Eclipse, HTML, CSS, and Web Services standards (SOAP, WSDL).
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong skills in creating technical documentation using MS Office Suite including Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow detailed technical procedures independently.

This technical developer/programmer will lead functional and detailed requirement development, code development, and lifecycle management, acting as a key point of contact for development-related issues and collaborating closely with senior technical consultants.

Special Considerations:

• All work must be performed on State premises.
• Absences greater than two weeks require prior approval and must provide reachable contact information.
• Vendor must notify agency of any outsourcing outside the country and disclose subcontracting at submission.
• Some travel may be required during the assignment.

Scheduling:

• Immediate hire preferred with availability from September 7, 2026, through January 17, 2027.
• Work schedule to be coordinated as per project needs; may include standard business hours on-site.
