Job summary

UnitedMasters, a creative solutions company, Translation, seeks a Strategy Director to lead brand insight-driven work for major accounts in New York. You will shape audience understanding, guide brand positioning, and direct cross-functional teams to deliver strategic solutions.

Four days in office and one day remote, you will collaborate with data strategists, planners, and creatives to translate culture into actionable messaging and growth strategies for our clients.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of strategy and brand development experience.
• Diverse strategic skills including consumer research and comms planning.
• Proven ability to cull insights and design consumer studies.
• Excellent storytelling and clear communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and accuracy of audience, cultural and brand insights.
• Identify real problems behind briefs and define why/how decisions.
• Guide brand positioning and inform messaging and channel strategy.
• Lead day-to-day client and project engagements across key accounts.
• Collaborate with data strategists, planners, directors, and creatives on a branding vision.
• Build relationships internally and externally to drive outcomes.
• Oversee junior team output to meet client goals and business objectives.
• Contribute to intellectual capital around audience and cultural insights.
