Job summary

Liliʻuokalani Trust seeks a Youth Support Specialist II to provide professional casework, group work, and community-building services for Native Hawaiian youth and ʻohana. Responsibilities include coordinating intake, conducting assessments, delivering counseling, and collaborating with clinical teams to ensure sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Bachelor’s with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with Native Hawaiian communities and Hawaiian values.
• LSW license preferred.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills; ability to tailor communications.
• High data-entry accuracy and deadline management.
• Ability to guide and support team members; adaptable to changing priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access; TB clearance required.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification preferred; criminal history check required.

Responsibilities

• Foster safe, inclusive environments and supportive youth development.
• Support new participant intake, enrollment, and initial assessments.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop service plans with youth and families.
• Provide counseling and casework across settings; coordinate with clinical teams.
• Engage with communities and LT programs; participate in planning and evaluation.
• Travel for LT business as needed; participate in agency meetings and trainings.
