Job Title: Full-Time Cultivation Technician

Position Overview

Our next Full-Time Cultivation Technician will play a key role in executing crop production tasks in accordance with company SOPs for indoor cultivation. Cultivators handle daily assignments related to the cannabis crop production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor environmental factors affecting plant growth.
2. Maintain accurate records using state-mandated electronic tracking systems.
3. Harvest plants and sanitize grow rooms.
4. Work effectively within a diverse team, demonstrating strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence.

Location

This position is on-site at our Boonton, NJ facility.

Environmental and Physical Conditions

Work involves exposure to plant matter, pollen, high/low temperatures, humidity, dust, chemicals, and repetitive movements. Physical requirements include lifting at least 50 lbs, extended periods of standing or walking, and working with hazardous chemicals following safety protocols. PPE and protective gear are mandatory.

Job Duties

• Propagation activities: cloning, watering, environment maintenance, inventory tracking.
• Monitor and report environmental conditions and plant health.
• Inspect crops for pests/disease; implement IPM practices.
• Plant care during growth stages: transplanting, pruning, training, watering, and feeding.
• Harvesting: cutting, weighing, sanitizing, and organizing plants.
• Operate cultivation systems and maintain equipment.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and security protocols.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and improve.
• Effective teamwork and positive attitude.
• Horticulture experience preferred but not required.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to adhere to schedules and maintain punctuality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet all state-specific requirements.
