Job summary

The Botanist: In Grown Farms LLC 2, part of Canopy USA, LLC, seeks a Cultivation Tech II to lead the cultivation team and ensure high-quality cannabis production in a compliant environment.

You will supervise technicians, implement IPM and feeding schedules, and maintain cultivation records, collaborating with management to optimize yields and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in horticulture, agriculture, biology, chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in horticulture, botany, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer & MS Office operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cultivation technicians and lead the grow team, reporting to management.
• Communicate updates and enforce safety policies.
• Execute IPM plan and monitor cultivation rooms for problems.
• Maintain daily feed and care schedules and coordinate pruning.
• Record temperatures, humidity, pH, and other metrics.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are on hand and properly stored.
• Assist with propagation planning, calendar layouts, and SOP maintenance.
