Job summary

Verano is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee planning, organizing, developing, and executing maintenance across our cultivation and processing facility in Canton, OH. The role includes leading the PM program, CMMS administration, and supervising maintenance staff to keep building and equipment running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of facility and equipment maintenance experience.
• 2 years of maintenance leadership experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to register with the state cannabis commission as an agent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance planning, organizing, developing, and executing maintenance across the facility.
• Develop and implement SOPs and train personnel in accordance with SOPs.
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in the building.
• Maintain cultivation and processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment issues.
• Lead PM program and CMMS administration for the location.
• Manage outside contractors and negotiate service agreements.
• Coordinate operations and schedules of maintenance personnel.
• Interview, hire, and train maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with laws, safety, and regulatory requirements.
