Job summary

Blackstone Valley Cannabis in Uxbridge, MA is hiring a Manufacturing and Cultivation Associate to support production, packaging and cultivation. You will follow SOPs daily, operate across departments, and contribute to timely task completion with strong ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing or Operations related role.
• High school diploma required.
• Math skills necessary, and use of Excel.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in teams with judgment and resourcefulness.
• Able to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
• Must be able to sit, stand and perform repetitive actions with hands.
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background checks required.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assemble finished goods by packaging, filling and labeling.
• Work with cannabis plants in flower and post harvest rooms including defoliation, harvesting and bucking.
• Assist with the semi automated bud trimming process.
• Accurately and diligently follow the Company’s SOPs.
• Maintain a clean work environment and wear appropriate PPE.
• Assist with keeping all departments in compliance with the regulations.

The Opportunity

This role is critical to the company’s continued growth and drive toward being the best operational company in the cannabis industry. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manufacturing and Cultivation Associate will complete daily tasks in different departments depending on operational need. These departments include Production/Packaging and Cultivation. The primary focus of this position will be to follow SOPs for the department they are working in that day and assist with getting tasks completed in an efficient and timely manner. Candidates must have a strong ownership mindset and a desire to contribute to the continued success of a rapidly growing business. This is ideal for goal-oriented individuals who are comfortable with the cannabis industry and who appreciate the growth potential that it presents
