Henry County PSA is hiring a Culinary Worker at the Henry County Adult Detention Center. This full-time role requires rotating shifts including nights and weekends, and you will prepare and serve meals to detainees while following health and dietary regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to scheduled menus and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and storage areas.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to health department regulations.
• Assist with inventory control, food storage, and stock rotation.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen staff, detention officers, and facility administrators.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• May assist with supervising inmate kitchen workers under officer supervision.
• Must be available for rotating shifts, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary Range: $36,867 - $38,577 DOE

The Henry County Adult Detention Center is seeking a dedicated and reliable Culinary Worker to join our team. This position plays a vital role in preparing and serving meals to detainees while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and dietary regulations.
