Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a skilled line cook for our Reno, NV facility. You will prepare food to standard hotel recipes, read daily forecasts and menus, delegate production to ensure all items meet service needs, and ensure proper portions, presentation, and sanitation codes are followed.

You must have at least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen, be able to work all shifts including nights and weekends, maintain a clean, safe workspace, follow recipes precisely, and

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare all food items in accordance with standard hotel recipes and specifications.
• Read, comprehend, and follow daily forecasts, menus and recipes for production in the work area.
• Complete food orders using computer or pen and paper to procure items for production.
• Interact with hotel guests for special requests.
• Collaborate with cooks and team members to prepare and present food according to standards and cost controls.
• Audit storeroom items for quality and rotation; monitor food cost and sanitation codes.
• Perform any other duties within the scope of the position.
