Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Food Unit Lead at Lone Star College in Houston, TX. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, with responsibilities for coordinating kitchen staff and ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.

Required are 4 years of culinary experience and 2 years of catering experience. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, with benefits and referral bonuses available.

• Previous 4 years of culinary experience and 2 years of catering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service staff to create an enjoyable dining experience for customers and visitors.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverage items following company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.
• Supervises serving of meals and ensures timely, efficient service; responds to customer complaints in person and via email.
• Trains employees and assigns work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service; schedules and expedites workflow.
