FellowshipLIFE’s Applewood Village in Freehold, NJ is seeking a friendly Utility Person to support our Dining Services team. The role covers essential kitchen tasks such as dishwashing, cleaning, floor care, and delivering food carts to resident floors, with on-the-job training provided.

You will work in a mission-driven community that emphasizes compassion, hospitality, and teamwork, with a part-time schedule and competitive hourly pay of $18–$19.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No prior experience necessary – on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and sanitizing solutions.
• Clean kitchen floors, work surfaces, and equipment.
• Deliver food carts to resident floors.
• Receive and properly store food, supplies, and equipment.
• Take and record temperatures of refrigerated and frozen items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
• Attend required meetings and in‑service training.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights.
• Assist with training new team members as assigned.
