Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) is hiring a part-time culinary supervisor at North Alabama Medical Center to support the food and nutrition team and ensure accurate patient meals.

You will lead a rotating shift, supervise staff, and deliver timely, high-quality meals while providing excellent service in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience in culinary/foodservice environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary operations to support patient meals and hospital dining.
• Supervise team members to ensure smooth operations and quality service.
• Ensure each patient meal matches order and dietary requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff and visitors.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team! Support the culinary director to lead the food and nutrition team at a hospital. Ensure patient meals are accurate and are delivered in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Culinary Supervisor Wage: $16/hour
• Part-time position available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Supervisor team members to ensure smooth operations of the criteria, doctor’s dining, catering, and/or patient meals
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients, staff, and visitors
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience (cook, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, culinary operations, restaurants, supervisor, dietary department, foodservice, hourly manager, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
