Job summary

Discovery Land Company’s Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club in Puerto Rico seeks a Steward / Dishwasher to support the culinary department. You will maintain spotless dish areas, assist with events, and ensure safe handling of chemicals and waste while following HACCP-based guidelines.

Role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and professional conduct in a luxury hospitality setting. Training provided; full-time, on-site position located in Fajardo, PR.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate operational and safety instructions in Spanish and/or English, as appropriate to the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machines and three-compartment sinks safely and efficiently.
• Wash, sanitize, dry, transport, and store dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing areas and back-of-house spaces; complete cleaning checklists.
• Handle, transport, and dispose of waste and recyclables per procedures.
• Support setup, breakdown, and transport for culinary events and service periods.
