Job summary

Trump International Beach Resort in Florida is seeking a Steward to prepare and serve balanced meals for staff, transport hot and cold foods from the kitchen, and maintain sanitary kitchen areas. You will stock supplies, clean serving areas, and ensure china and flatware are sanitized, supporting hotel operations as needed.

English communication is required and standing for long periods is expected. Experience in hospitality is preferred; a high school diploma is preferred; must be able to lift

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred; previous experience in hospitality preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves balanced meals to employees of the resort.
• Takes hot and cold foods to cafeteria from the kitchen in a timely manner.
• Replenishes all non-food items as needed.
• Cleans and stock supplies, such as plates, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils.
• Cleans food serving areas, including counters, and utensils.
• Maintains proper sanitation per health dept. and Stewarding standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes all china and flatware.
• Follows safety guidelines for using cleaning chemicals.
• May work in other areas of the hotel as needed to support operations.
