Job summary

SodexoMagic is seeking a Cook II at Delaware State University to join our culinary team. You will prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes while delivering friendly, customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll follow recipes, maintain high food safety standards, and support the kitchen during service, events, and daily operations. The role offers full-time hours with varied shifts and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and focused on a safe, positive work environment.
• 3–4 years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and/or cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and product directions.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte station or grill.
• Support management in daily oversight during the shift.
• Attend work on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client needs.
