Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist the manager with preparing meals, maintaining cash receipts and daily meal records, and upholding high standards of quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety.

You will support daily operations, prepare food items, manage storage, and help with reports while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Food service certificate or equivalent training as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a plan.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Ensure storage of food in a sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Follow established cleanliness and safety procedures in the kitchen.
• Operate and care for kitchen equipment safely.
• Contribute to major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work and storage area.
