Job summary

Newport Healthcare is seeking a Culinary Services Team Member to deliver nourishing, high-quality meals for clients and families. You will prepare and present meals, maintain kitchen safety, and collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to execute menus.

You will open/close the kitchen, ensure cleanliness, stock, and accommodate dietary needs while fostering a warm dining environment and positive guest interactions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of applicable experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• State Food Safety Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the kitchen as required.
• Maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment.
• Prepare and present meals and snacks daily.
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines set by the Chef de Cuisine.
• Adjust meals for dietary restrictions and client preferences.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health standards.
• Engage with clients and families to support a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with team and participate in cooking groups.
