Job summary

The Jasper of Mansfield, part of Sonida Senior Living, seeks a friendly Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in a clean, organized kitchen. You will support the Culinary Services Director and work to maintain high standards in dining and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include meal preparation for assigned shifts, ensuring timely service, and keeping the dining area and kitchen sanitary. Experience with large-volume cooking and teamwork is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• Experience with volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.
• Some supervisory experience preferred; ability to read recipes and work in a team, handle multiple tasks, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and serves nutritious meals in an organized, timely, and sanitary manner.
• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining an efficient Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards of dining services, including service delivery and cleanliness.
• Cleans after preparation and service; maintains area, pots, and equipment.
