Job Functions
- Work with the facility's Dietitian / Director of Food Services as necessary and implement recommended changes.
- Ensure that all food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary or as directed.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information, reporting any unauthorized access.
- Develop and maintain good working relations with staff and other departments to ensure proper food service for residents.
- Create and maintain a warm, positive, and calm environment within the department.
- Report any known or suspected incidents of fraud to the Administrator.
- Log off computer workstations per facility policy.

Specific Requirements
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
- Ability to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and agencies.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Maintain sanitation, safety, and proper use of supplies and equipment.
- Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm for working with residents of various maturity levels.
- Willingness to learn new methods and incorporate them into food practices.
- Must not pose a health or safety threat to others.
Education: Minimum 8th grade education required.
