Job summary

Autumn Glen, a Sonida Senior Living community in Greencastle, Indiana, seeks a friendly Culinary Service Assistant to serve residents and guests in the dining room, following established procedures and delivering courteous, professional service.

You will assist in drink and food preparation, help with setup and cleanup, prepare snacks, and replenish stock at common area refreshment centers while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• One to two years' experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve (12) plus years of education, Highschool Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assist in drink and food preparation for the residents and perform assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Prepare and serve snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Maintain procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adhere to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.
