Job summary

Aspen Grove, a Sonida Senior Living community, in Lambertville, Michigan, is seeking a Culinary Service Assistant to support dining operations for residents and guests in a respectful, professional manner.

You will assist with food and drink preparation, dishwashing, and setting up dining areas, while following safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality service in an assisted living environment.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in cleanup, washing dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks and replenishing stock items in common area refreshment centers for residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards to comply with governmental regulations.
