The cook works with an interdisciplinary team to ensure cost-effective, high-quality meals that preserve dignity and offer residents meaningful choices.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents.
• Must qualify for employment after criminal background check per Minnesota DHS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and be responsible for the preparation of foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Coordinate with Culinary Services Director and interdisciplinary team to meet therapeutic diet orders.
• Promote food service standards through cost, quality and quantity controls.
• Provide meals that respect resident preferences and dignity.
