Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a full-time Food Service Worker/Cashier at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Schedule runs 5:45 am–10:30 pm with days varying and rotating weekends. Prior related experience is required. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Caries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
