Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a full-time Food Service Utility at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The role supports kitchen cleanliness, food prep areas, and basic front-of-house setup, with a 9:00 am–6:00 pm shift and rotating weekends.

Previous food service utility experience is preferred, and online applications are accepted. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, reflecting entry to mid-level responsibilities in a hospital

Qualifications

• Previous food service utility experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
