Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a part-time Culinary Services Aide to assist the cook with meal preparation and service, ensuring meals are served on time and to residents’ preferences. You will follow established policies and promote high food service standards, while upholding dignity and quality in every meal.

Culinary Service Aide

Part-Time PM (4:00pm-7:00pm)

Description:

The Culinary Services Aide must assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals meeting scheduled mealtimes. Will follow established policies and procedures for the Culinary Services Department and promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls. Provides meal service that meets the desires of the resident, by allowing as much choice as possible and giving food service that preserves the element of personal dignity.

Qualifications:

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
