Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a part-time Culinary Services Aide to assist the cook in meal preparation and service for residents at the Monarch facilities. The role follows established policies to maintain food service standards, controlling cost, quality and quantity while ensuring meals meet scheduled times and resident preferences.

The position emphasizes respecting resident dignity, providing choice, and delivering consistent service within the Culinary Services Department.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Culinary Service Aide

Available Schedule:

Part time 10:00am-6:30pm

Description:

The Culinary Services Aide must assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals meeting scheduled mealtimes. Will follow established policies and procedures for the Culinary Services Department and promote food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls. Provides meal service that meets the desires of the resident, by allowing as much choice as possible and giving food service that preserves the element of personal dignity.
