American Senior Communities in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide to support safe, nutritious meals for residents. You will assist with meal prep, portioning, and service, while helping maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service.
• Will­ingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.
• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling is preferred and may be earned while employed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
