Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a full-time Culinary Aide (Culinary Server) to support resident dining at Rosegate Commons Assisted Living in Indiana. You will partner with culinary leaders to ensure safe, nutritious meals, assist with meal prep and service, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and willingness to perform routine tasks in a supportive culinary team.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
• Preferred: Prior restaurant server experience
• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
