Epicured, Inc. is hiring a Culinary & Recipe Data Analyst to help keep its recipe database in Galley accurate, usable, and ready to support product development. This onsite role in Glen Cove, NY combines food-focused standards with careful data management, so every dish is modeled correctly from ingredients through final attributes.

What you’ll do

• Input, standardize, and maintain detailed recipe specifications across all business lines within the Galley platform in line with company SOPs.
• Onboard and manage ingredients, map vendor supply data, and link the right nutritional definitions and unit conversions.
• Apply and audit clinical, dietary, and operational attributes (including Low FODMAP, Diabetes-Friendly, Cardiovascular, Active, and Inactive) at both the sub-recipe and completed dish levels to protect system integrity.
• Collaborate with culinary, clinical, and operations teams to audit existing recipes, resolve discrepancies, and run regular quality assurance checks on menu data.
• Spot operational bottlenecks in recipe data entry, help refine SOPs, and support data consistency for downstream menu planning and rotation, nutrition review, and labeling outputs.

What you’ll bring

• 2-3 years of food industry experience through commercial kitchen or culinary work, food regulation background, or work as a Registered Dietitian.
• A degree in Food Science (preferred).
• Proficiency with database entry or food management platforms (experience with Galley is a plus, but other systems are welcome).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data manipulation, cross-referencing, and basic analysis.
• A meticulous approach to data integrity, unit conversions, and technical specifications, including yields, serving sizes, and weights.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and scale responsibilities across culinary operations and product development.

Compensation & benefits

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience.
