Casey’s is offering a Culinary Research & Development internship for Summer 2027 at our Ankeny, Iowa campus. You’ll work with the R&D team to set up labs, follow recipes, document lab notes, and support sensory tastings while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

This hands-on program emphasizes professional growth, networking with leaders, and potential to continue part-time during school and launch a full-time career after graduation, with a starting hourly pay of $20–$23.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Culinary, Food Science or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities; manage priorities and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the lab and stations according to upcoming projects.
• Maintain an organized work area and lab notebook.
• Assist in sensory tastings and organize nutritional/specification information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
