Job summary

Epic is seeking a procurement professional for our culinary department on the Madison, WI campus. You will manage the sourcing of large industrial appliances, merchandising equipment, and small wares, while coordinating with chefs and facilities teams to ensure quality, sustainability, and cost balance.

You will build and maintain vendor relationships, prioritize local sourcing where possible, and can expect merit-based raises, bonuses, and stock grants.

Qualifications

• Equipment procurement experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Excel and Access.
• Willingness to relocate to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 Vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Procure culinary department equipment, including large industrial appliances and merchandising gear.
• Manage relationships with a broad vendor base from local farmers to national wholesalers.
• Collaborate with chefs, catering, events, facilities and accounting teams to optimize sourcing mix.
