Job summary

Epic is looking for a dedicated individual to manage procurement for their culinary department. This role involves sourcing everything from large industrial appliances to small wares, serving a bustling environment providing around 12,000 meals daily. The successful candidate will work closely with chefs and various stakeholders to ensure that sourcing aligns with menu needs.

Experience in equipment procurement is preferred, with excellent communication and organizational skills. This position requires a willingness to relocate to Madison, WI, for which relocation assistance is reimbursed.

• Willingness to relocate to the Madison, WI area.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement for the culinary department, including equipment, small wares, and consumables.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of vendors.
• Collaborate with chefs and cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing needs align with menus and operations.
• Prioritize local sourcing and evaluate suppliers for quality, cost, and sustainability.
